DTI launches P250M Philippine Startup Venture Fund
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and National Development Company (NDC), together with QBO Innovation Hub successfully launched the Startup Venture Fund (SVF) last 19 November 2021, serving as the culminating event of the Philippine Startup Week 2021. This year, the NDC has allocated PhP250 million (US$5M) venture fund for innovative Philippine startups in the Seed to Series B stage.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) once again held its annual Slingshot Conference on Thursday, 18 November 2021during the virtual Philippine Startup Week 2021. Anchored on this year’s PHSW21 theme, “Beyond Recovery: Filipino Startups Redefining Opportunity,” the Slingshot Conference aims to enable the Philippine startup ecosystem to scale and develop its ability to cater to the global market in these challenging times and beyond.
