The Competitiveness Bureau (CB), an office under the Competitiveness and Innovation Group (CIG), seeks to enhance the long-term competitiveness of the Philippines through information gathering, policy formulation, advocacy work, awards management, and program monitoring, evaluation, and documentation, through the implementation of the following programs:
- Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index;
- Domestic Bidders Certificate of Preference
- National Competitiveness Agenda
- Philippine Quality Award
- Roads Leveraging Linkages of Industry and Trade (ROLL-IT Program)
Fostering competitiveness remains the centerpiece of CB’s goals. Thus, partnerships in the academe, public and private sector, as well as development organizations are developed and nurtured, allowing for a more comprehensive and united approach towards the goal of raising competitiveness, in the local and national level.
